Charakteristika

This line section is a part of the Prague - Airport - Kladno railway connection project. Its aim is to ensure a high-quality, reliable and high-capacity connection between Kladno and the capital in the nature of suburban transport. It is designed in the track of Buštěhradská railway line, the main modifications will be double-tracking, electrification and major modifications to stations and stops in terms of friendliness and comfort for passengers. The modernization is primarily designed so that the railway linein the Kladno - Kladno Ostrovec section will enable the operation of trains in the required volume and quality,  ensuring the safety of both rail transport and passengers who will use the railway and citizens who will be in contact with the railway while moving around the city.
